The Application Essentials module encompasses the key concepts and skills necessary to start using common office productivity applications that including documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in an effective manner. To carry out these tasks effectively, a solid basis of skills in using the key technologies to support is essential.
The Documents module covers the main concepts and skills needed for common word processing tasks, such as creating, formatting, and finishing letters and other everyday documents. With sizeable number of job roles now requiring the use of essential ICT (Information and Computer Technology) skills, employees must be able to demonstrate proficiency in using word processing applications to effectively produce workplace documents.
The Spreadsheets module encompasses the key concepts and necessary skills needed for spreadsheets, including tasks associated with developing, formatting, modifying, and using a spreadsheet. Along with utilizing standard formulas and functions, this module also delves into the visualisation of data through creating and formatting charts and graphs.
